When you use Mission Admission, we may collect:

• Account information: Name, email address, and profile picture provided via Google Sign-In.
• Academic information you provide: MHT-CET percentile, category (Open/OBC/SC/ST/etc.), gender, preferred branch and districts.
• Usage data: Pages visited, searches performed, predictions generated, and preference lists created.
• Technical data: Browser type, device type, IP address (anonymized), and timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate personalized college predictions based on your percentile and preferences.
• To save your preference lists, saved colleges, and prediction history.
• To provide AI counsellor responses tailored to your profile.
• To improve the accuracy and usability of our platform.
• To send important service updates (we do not send marketing emails).

3. Google Sign-In & OAuth

When you sign in with Google, we only request the minimum scopes necessary: your basic profile (name, email, profile picture). We do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google service. Google may show you exactly what data we request on the consent screen.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Service providers: Base44 (hosting & database), Google (authentication), and AI providers (for the AI counsellor — anonymized prompts only).
• Legal compliance: If required by Indian law or a valid legal request.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).

6. Data Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. We use HTTPS for all data in transit and industry-standard encryption at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Mission Admission is intended for students aged 16 and older (typical MHT-CET aspirants). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
